Some earlier history till now...

Lesley's camera has been by her side since primary school in suburban Brisbane, when her twin lens Kodak Duaflex for her 10th birthday was later replaced by her first SLR for her 13th birthday, a Minolta SRT101. Growing up with slide nights and her Dad's black and white collection planted a seed for a lifetime of photography to follow.

Early photography endeavours were in stage and entertainment photography, as well as travel and magazine articles. Since the early 90's she has created a significant and very successful wedding and portrait business, based on a natural, candid and unobtrusive photojournalistic style.

Since 2009, her love of travel and documenting exotic cultures has again become a direction going forward. her substantial collection of images from unique, wondrous and exotic destinations the world over is now the basis of a fine art collection.

In addition to the above, she has also excelled in Event Photography, being on  the photographic staff in Expo '88 in Brisbane, and the Indy 500 at the Gold Coast.

In more recent times, as a member of the Noosa Outrigger Canoe Club, she has now become passionate about photographing this exciting and growing sport in the SE Qld area. In May 2016, she was the Official Photographer at the Va'a World Outrigger Sprint Championships.

Since 1996, Lesley's commitment to excellence has seen great success with local, national and international awards being achieved every year

Since 2000, she has been a judge at both the AIPP Qld and Australian Professional Photography Awards and is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) of the Professional Photographers Association Queensland (PPAQ). In 2011, she was an AIPP mentor for wedding/portrait emerging photographers in Qld and since 2014 is a Folio Assessor for new members wishing to join the AIPP.
